painting exhibited in the collective exhibition
'Mickey dans tous ses états'

... so with Unframed, the visitor becomes part of a dialogue and he finds himself integrated into the painting. This work presents Mickey, an animated character confronted with emblematic personalities of art history. However, these personalities are still confined in their frames, becoming therefore unreal and rooted. The striped background symbolises prison bars, with fame only enforcing it.
